MyLabStory is designed to collect only what is needed to provide the service. Your uploaded report file is used for extraction and review—not as permanent file storage.
You review first. Extracted values are shown for confirmation before saving.
Files are temporary. Uploaded PDFs and images are deleted after processing and are not kept as report archives.
Your data is not sold. We do not sell personal or health information for advertising.

How MyLabStory handles your information
Effective 15 July 2026
1. Information we collect
We may collect account information such as your name and email address; optional profile information such as sex, date of birth, height, and weight; and the lab values, units, dates, reference intervals, and notes you choose to save.
2. Uploaded reports and images
When you submit a PDF or image, it is used temporarily to extract candidate lab values. You can review and correct those values before saving. The original PDF or image is not retained as part of your health record and is deleted after processing.
3. How we use information
We use your information to create and secure your account, display saved results, calculate unit conversions and trends, generate reports you request, provide support, and improve the reliability and accessibility of MyLabStory.
4. Service providers and disclosure
We may use carefully selected service providers for authentication, secure hosting, email delivery, and app operations. They may process data only to provide those services. We do not sell personal or health information.
5. Retention and deletion
Saved account and lab-result data is retained while your account is active or as needed to operate the service. You may request access, correction, or deletion by contacting us. We may retain limited records where required for security, legal, or fraud-prevention purposes.
6. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the information we process. No electronic transmission or storage system is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
7. Health and age notice
MyLabStory provides educational organization and trend tools, not medical diagnosis or treatment. Always discuss health decisions with a qualified clinician. The service is intended for adults aged 18 and over.
8. Updates and contact
We may update this policy as the service develops. Material changes will be reflected here with a new effective date. Questions or privacy requests can be sent to support@mylabstory.app.
